I was hoping to get this site started in full earlier last week, but did not. Yet, because this book was published then, I just need to get this out for the world to know about prior to full release. I will have much to post about this key issue (inherent gender bias against men and fathers in the court system) in the future with additional facts and real-life proof.
The Respondent: Exposing the Cartel of Family Law by Greg Ellis. Johnny Depp (Introduction), Alec Baldwin (Foreword)
There is no better way to start this resource off by letting you know about a book just published that brings to light the real-life (and current) personal and heart-breaking story of those you likely all know about the trauma and damage done to men via the court system and divorce in general. It is written by another known actor Greg Ellis who actually personally witnessed this, on how even Johnny Depp and Alec Baldwin have suffered immense trauma in their divorce via the inherently biased court system which always works against men. I can tell you countless stories of good men that I know about this, but you obviously would not know them. Yet, it’s hard to imagine that anyone reading this now would know at least one of these celebrities.
I’m going to pull a few very pertinent parts of Ellis’ work to somewhat summarize, but please support and purchase this key resource so that this issue will rise in importance. As any good reference/research source does, it is loaded with facts to absolutely proves this conclusion. And, keep in mind, that anyone who reads this also comes from a father and likely we all have a sibling or relative who is also a man. Would you want them to suffer such cruel treatment? Hence, we are all impacted.
It’s a guidebook, part meditation, part manifesto, part mediation, but it also offers solutions and help and hope for those going through the system,’ he said.

‘I think if we’re going to talk about toxic masculinity, we have to talk about toxic femininity.’
…the silver bullet of false accusation of domestic violence.’
‘And that stain is hard to get off, particularly if you’re a man and a father, particularly if you’re famous and a celebrity. It’s disgusting and disgraceful what’s happened to him.’
…most men and fathers in family courts are not afforded due process and the presumption of innocence.
…he impetus for me to start the multimedia conservation on the modern or positive masculinity,’
…the emotional turmoil brought on by the lengthy and expensive divorce process…
…the gender bias purportedly faced by men in family court…

I use the word trauma because this is precisely what occurs to men in what is known as inherent gender bias. Depp and Baldwin certainly do not need to let anyone know about their trauma, but due to the horrible personal, financial, mental, reputational, etc. damage they both have suffered (and continue to suffer) they have decided to open up their personal painful situations to the world to help everyone realize the reality of the situation men and fathers suffer. By using facts, they show that family courts (regardless of status) destroy good men via inherent gender bias against men and fathers. I repeat: all men suffer, not just “average joes.”
